Dillweed (Anethum graveolens) is a famous culinary herb to use in a meal with fish.

To save the herb for a long time, you can freeze it and wrap it up in foil. As a culinary herb it also has medicinal effects, namely it’s working against flatulence. The eaten herb calms actually the digestive system.

It is also a rare feral plant in the Netherlands. It is probably because the seed germinate very good. Sprinkle the seeds over open soil and the plant does his job automatically. If the plant grow up it flourish from the end of June till September.

Hang up the herb above your door and no jealous people will enter your house anymore.

This herb was formerly used together with Wild Marjoram (Origanum vulgare) to repulse the devil. The cause of this is the strong and nice smell that these plants spread.
